This was my second week at The House. I produced the Erin O’Toole segment from start to finish, with minimal guidance from supervisors. I also helped with other segments on the show, including doing background research and developing question lines.

My duties as an intern included booking studios (including studio-to-studio bookings), conducting research and finding guests, pre-interviewing guests, editing audio in Dalet, and developing background pages and question lines in iNews, as well as writing segments and taking photos for the website.

This was my first week at The House. I found Dominique Filion, a Canada Border Services agent who was on the ground in Lacolle, Que. I also found Jean-Nicolas Beuze, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Canadian representative, who was on the ground in Lacolle, Que., and was interviewed on CBC’s Power and Politics.

I also helped to produce the Manning Conference segment, choosing which panelist was on the show, booking them, and developing background pages and question lines in iNews.
