Welcome to my online portfolio, my name is Emily Haws and it is great to virtually meet you. If we were meeting in person, I would probably flash you a big smile and shake your hand.

I’m a curious, passionate, and empathetic young journalist with a drive to tell stories in creative and interesting ways. I excel at reporting on social justice, education, and politics. I have been working professionally in the media since 2014.

I have experience in all mediums, and can produce stories for print/online, multimedia, video, and radio. I can also shoot my own photography, and have experience running several social media platforms.
